Beste buren van de Fluwelen Ortelius

Op zaterdag 18 maart a.s. van 13:00 t/m ca 15:00 organiseren we een ‘meet en greet the street’ bijeenkomst in onze Orteliusstraat. Dit is een gezellige en ook nog nuttige activiteit om onze straat mooier en schoner te maken.
We hebben vier dingen gepland:

• Het wordt gelukkig weer lente en daarom gaan we de straat weer verder opfleuren door bollen en plantjes. U kunt ze ophalen bij de organisatietafel in het midden van de straat nabij 324. Ze worden betaald uit het straatbudget dat we gewonnen hebben met het meedoen met de Schoonste straat van Bos en Lommer en uit donaties van jullie
   
• Ook dit jaar doen we weer mee met de landelijke actie ‘Nederland Schoon’. We gaan de straat schoonmaken. We verdelen de straat in zones en u kunt zich via onderstaand emailadres of ter plekke opgeven om een zone schoon te maken. Materiaal is voor de kinderen hebben we leuke hesjes en handschoenen.
   
• Verder willen we de omheining van de boomspiegeltuinen weer recht zetten. Dit zijn de kleine tuintjes rondom de bomen in de straat. Een rubber hamer is aanwezig, welke ‘atletische’ man of vrouw wil daar mee helpen?
   
• Uiteraard gaan we gezellig koffie of thee drinken en kennis maken met de nieuwe bewoners. Er is koffie en thee en wat erbij maar voel je vrij om wel of niet wat mee te nemen.

Dit is een email naar alle emailadressen van de straat, mocht je hier niet meer wonen geef dat dan svp even aan en ook of je eventueel nog op de emaillijst wil blijven staan bv. als eigenaar of omdat je nog contact met mensen uit de straat wil houden. Op die manier kunnen we contact leggen met de nieuwe bewoners.

We hopen dat jullie allemaal zoveel mogelijk komt en meedoet aan deze leuke dag. Het is een mooie kans om uw buren beter te leren kennen en iets goeds te doen voor onze straat.

Dear neighbors of the Fluwelen Ortelius,

On Saturday, March 18th from 13:00 to about 15:00 we are organizing a ‘meet and greet the street’ in our part of the Orteliusstraat. This is a fun and useful activity to make our street more beautiful and clean. We have four activities planned:
 

1) It’s finally spring again and that’s why we’re going to brighten up the street with bulbs and plants. You can pick them up at the organization table in the middle of the street near 324. They are paid for from the street budget that we won by participating in the Cleanest Street of Bos en Lommer and from donations from you.
 

2) We are also participating again this year in the national campaign ‘Nederland Schoon’. We are going to clean up the street. We divide the street into zones and you can sign up via the email address below or on site to clean a zone. Material is available for children we have nice vests and gloves.
 

3) We also want to straighten out the fence of the tree mirror gardens. These are the small gardens around the trees in the street. A rubber hammer is available, which ‘athletic’ man or woman wants to help with that?
 

4) Of course we are going to drink coffee or tea together and get to know new residents. There is coffee and tea and something with it but feel free to bring something or not.

This is sent to all email addresses of the street. If you no longer live here please let us know and also if you still want to stay on the email list as owner or because you still want to keep in touch with people from the street. That way we can contact new residents

We hope that you will all come as much as possible and participate in this fun day. It is a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors better and do something good for our street.
